Furan resin adhesive mortar

1 Brief introduction

Furan resin adhesive mortar－furan adhesive mortar(anticorrosive type) has high adhesive strength and good thermal endurance. It is an ideal adhesive agent resistant of all organic solvent corrosion and proof of acid and alkali, and it can be applied in occasions not suitable for resin such as epoxy, phenolic aldehyde and unsaturated polyester. It is composed of two components i.e. liquid and powdered ingredient (Mixed with fiberglass-reinforced plastics, adhesive mortar powder and mortar powder, the fiberglass-reinforced plastics, adhesive mortar and mortar is produced respectively.) Anticorrosive furan resin series product is proof of most acid and alkali, and its application temperature can reach around 140℃.With reliable adhesive performance and being convenient for construction and maintenance, it is extensively applied in anticorrosion engineering. It has developed into a serial product.

4 Use

Furan resin adhesive mortar－furan mortar is applied in architecture anticorrosion, impermeable layer of furan resin fiberglass-reinforced plastics, furan adhesive mortar liner corrosion proof tile, cast stone plate and granite material, furan resin concrete groove, pool and terrace etc. It can also be applied for anticorrosion protection of equipment liner such as furan resin fiberglass reinforced plastics liner, furan resin adhesive mortar liner and lining casting stone anticorrosion liner.

5 Construction method and proportioning

 1.It is required that mixed adhesive mortar, mortar and fiberglass reinforced plastics glue stuff must be used up within 40 minutes, thus the suitable consumption of furan resin by one tray of adhesive mortar is 2-3 kg. Through strict calculation, furan powdered ingredient is added firstly, then furan resin glue is mixed into, it can only be applied when sufficient stirring is done. When atmospheric temperature is higher than 30℃, the prepared quantity of each tray shall be decreased appropriately 
 2.It is forbidden to add other optional curing agent into adhesive mortar. (Furan powdered ingredient contains curing agent.)
 3.To decide consistency of adhesive mortar of lining acid-resistant sheet material, a tray of adhesive mortar shall be trial-prepared according principle of convenient operation. If the consistency does not meet construction requirement, it can be properly adjusted. But it is not allowed to supplement furan resin glue and apply secondary stirring after pre-hardening or thickening & hardening of adhesive mortar.

7. Safe storage and package:

 Furan resin adhesive mortar －furan adhesive mortar shall be stored in ventilated, cool and dry warehouse or construction site, it shall be rain proof and sunscreen. Construction site shall be well ventilated and no open flame is allowed. Constructors shall wear labor protection appliances such as working clothes, breathing mask and glasses. Under condition of original barrel or bag package, furan glue and furan powdered ingredient shall be separately kept, and direct mixture may cause reaction and solidification.

Validity period of furan resin glue－furan glue is one year(30-250 kg/barrel)：Validity period of adhesive mortar powder is one year(25 kg/bag).
